Why can't I log into SharePoint? ›

Access Denied error occurs when user's browser caches incorrect login/permissions information or user does not have appropriate permission on SharePoint site. Resolution: Try to log in from another browser. If works, clear up browser's cache.

Browser Settings: Check the browser settings in Microsoft Edge to ensure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled. SharePoint relies on cookies and JavaScript for authentication and functionality, so disabling them could lead to login issues.

You can try to access the site or the document library from the parent site or the site collection and see if you can find your group there. - Check the permissions of your Sharepoint group. Make sure that you have the appropriate permissions to access the site or the document library where your group is located.
